People work because they need the money to live, what are some other reasons that people work?

To work has become a daily activity. Sometimes, to work is not an option, it is a necessity. Most of the people work because they need the money to live. There is a small amount of people who work only because they are bored at home. This kind of situation happens when the person does not need to earn one's living. But this is not a common situation in Colombia.

There are a lot of reasons why people work. I am going to mention two reasons, that I considered the most important ones.

The first one, but not the most important in my list, is that people feel important when they work, they have a high selfsteem, and therefore it helps these people to have a better relationship with others. People who have a low selfsteem cannot achieve this level of relationship, in many cases people who do not work have low selfsteem.

And the second one, people mostly women want to feel independent. They do not want to depend on their husbands and to earn money sometimes give the women the power of making decisions on their own.

In conclusion, at the moment most of the people work, no matter the reason they work, at the end the whole world works because everyone makes it it works
