i think that this movie shows how powerful advertisement really is. it is shocking to see how big its influence is on society. this movie also opens your eyes to the fact that what's advertised is not always what you believe, and might not even be real at all.
this fact is not weird for people used to capitalism and advertising, the come hand in hand. however, people who's not used to it may fall into the fantasy world created by advertisers.
since colombia has been under capitalism for a while now, it's not likely that the efect would be the same. there's only one way to know for sure though, to give it a try.
i believe that advertising has a great power over people, me included, but i dont let it take control of me. since i dont like shopping, it is easy, most of the time. ithin we all can do it but for some it might take a little effort.
